Environmentally Conscious
To minimize manufacturing waste, our in-house recycling program encompasses foam, corrugated, and wood materials:
- Polyurethane foam scraps get baled and sold, where they are eventually used for products such as carpeting underlayment, automotive cushioning, and some upholstered furniture.
- Polyethylene (PE) foam scraps get densified into solid blocks for resale to foam manufacturers to be repurposed into recycled PE sheets.
- Corrugated fiberboard scraps get bailed and either recycled or sold to interested vendors to reuse.
- Hardwood and softwood scraps get ground into chips and sold to a local business that heats their facility using this biomass.
