Electronics Packaging
Index Packaging manufactures custom foam inserts, corrugated boxes, cases, and shipping crates for shipping sensitive electronic instruments, surgical and medical devices, computers, and technologically sensitive equipment. We use any combination of anti-static polyurethane (PU), polyethylene (PE), and expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam as required for additional rigidity. We offer prompt quotes, design, engineering, prototyping and fast production turnaround. Everything is made in the USA in our own New Hampshire production facilities.
Our packaging specialists will work with you to design, recommend, and manufacture the best boxes and foam for packaging electronic products based on:
- The fragility of your product.
- Handling, temperature, and transportation conditions.
- Cushioning requirement calculations.
- Vibration assessments.
- Product design considerations.
Specifications for electronics foam packaging may include PU, PE, EPS, electrostatic discharge, or conductive foam. Antistatic foam inserts are available in either PU (open-cell) or PE (closed-cell) foam.
Multilayer trays can be designed to economize space. Convoluted (egg crate) foam inserts can be designed to stabilize and control product movement, cushion, resist impact, and protect against breakage. With its excellent insulating properties, EPS foam is ideal for shipping any temperature-sensitive product. We also provide corrugated boxes, cases, and shipping crates for a complete electronics packaging solution.
